The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod began work in Puerto Rico about 15 years ago. Their five year plan is to plant a church in the city of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

We give thanks for the construction crews and volunteers who help accomplish the dream of the new sanctuary and Pre-school, dedicated in 2005.

World Missions is now considering different strategies of how to better reach the people in Puerto Rico.

The Tanney family continues to work on teaching confirmation classes and leadership training.

Pray that the Lord blesses the beginning of Sunday School and Pre-school.
