Construction on our church and our pre/kinder school has begun! Praise Almighty God! We are building a 60 X 60 foot two level building. The top level (seen in photo above) will be the church. However, it will also consist of the church office, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a multipurpose room. The bottom level (our school) will consist of classrooms, an office, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a cafeteria area.

Psalm 127
Unless the LORD builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.

  Philippians 4
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Church member reading his prayer

Recently, we held a prayer service for the construction process. Every member of the church prepared and then read their prayer in front of the congregation. We then took the prayers and placed them in a metal tube. We sealed the tube with all the prayers inside and then placed them in one of the columns. The column was then filled with cement -forever making our prayers part of the foundation!

The photo below is of the back retaining wall of the school. Directly above it is the church main entrance. Because our land is hilly, the church and the school will both have ground level entrances.

As you may have noticed from the church/school model the entrance to the school level is opposite the church entrance. The above picture is the view that a person has upon entering the school. Well, to be exact, the entrance is about eight feet in front of the man in the photo.

Prayer Requests

· For the safety of all our workers

· For our volunteer teams who are coming to help with construction

· For financial assistance to help complete our building

· For patience

The view here (above) is from the church entrance. If a person would be inside the church and look out from where the stained glass window will be (see model) they would see these blue apartments.
